The Osmio PROMAX-III-XL Ultimate Whole House Water Filter System is a premium high-capacity water filtration solution designed to improve water quality throughout the entire home. Installed at the point where water enters the property, the system helps reduce a wide range of contaminants before the water reaches taps, showers and appliances.

This XL version uses large 4.5" x 20" full-flow filter housings, providing greater filtration capacity and longer service intervals compared with standard 10" systems while maintaining excellent flow performance for modern households.

The PROMAX-III-XL combines three specialist filtration technologies designed to reduce chemicals, disinfectants, fine particulates and microorganisms while preserving good water pressure across the home.

Three Stage High Performance Filtration

Each filter stage is designed to perform a specific function, creating a comprehensive filtration system for residential water supplies.

Stage 1 – Osmio F-Guard PFAS & Fluoride Reduction Filter

The first stage uses the Osmio F-Guard specialist carbon filter, designed to target a wide range of modern water contaminants including PFAS (“forever chemicals”) and fluoride.

Using advanced adsorption media, the filter helps reduce many contaminants commonly found in municipal water supplies including:

• PFAS and fluorinated organic acids (PFOA & PFOS)
• Fluoride compounds
• Chlorine and chloramine
• Heavy metals including lead and mercury
• Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
• Trihalomethanes (THMs)

The filter has a 2 micron rating, providing effective chemical reduction while maintaining strong flow rates suitable for whole house filtration systems.

Stage 2 – 0.5 Micron Catalytic Chloramine Carbon Block

The second stage uses a 0.5 micron catalytic carbon block filter manufactured from high performance coconut shell activated carbon.

Catalytic carbon technology is particularly effective at reducing chlorine and chloramine disinfectants, which are commonly used by water utilities for microbial control.

This stage helps improve the taste and smell of water while reducing chemical disinfectants and organic compounds that may affect water quality.

Stage 3 – NanoCeram® 0.2 Micron Pleated Filter

The final filtration stage uses a NanoCeram® 0.2 micron pleated nanofibre filter, designed to reduce extremely fine particles and microorganisms.

The filter media consists of a thermally bonded blend of micro-glass fibres and cellulose infused with nano-alumina fibres, forming an electro-positively charged filtration matrix capable of capturing very small contaminants.

This stage helps reduce:

• Bacteria
• Micro-particles down to 0.2 micron

The pleated design provides a large filtration surface area, allowing strong flow rates while maintaining high filtration efficiency.

The PROMAX-III-XL system includes three heavy-duty 4.5" x 20" Osmio antibacterial filter housings with 1" brass BSP inlet and outlet connections, designed for whole house installations requiring high water flow.
